UC Berkeley Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship Association

The Regents' and Chancellor's Scholarship is UC Berkeley's most prestigious scholarship for incoming students, and is awarded annually to approximately 200 incoming undergraduates, including freshmen (for four years) and entering advanced standing students (for two years). Approximately 800 Scholars (new and continuing) are enrolled at Cal each year. All of these scholars are automatically part of the Regents' and Chancellor's Scholars Association (RCSA), a student-run organization that offers academic, professional, community and social activities/opportunities for its members. Most importantly, RCSA is an organization through which scholars can meet other scholars, through both academic or social settings.

Message from the Presidents

Hello everyone,
We are Erin Lam and Chris Torres, your RCSA Presidents for the 2011- 2012 school year, and we would like to welcome you to Cal! We are very excited to be at the helm of such a mentally diverse group of driven individuals who come from so many different backgrounds. Having been active members of RCSA since our freshman years, we know all the ins and outs of the Association and will do everything in our ability to make RCSA an exciting and unique experience for all those who give it a chance. We aspire to have everything we do as a club not be something done by just students or just scholars or just colleagues: we aspire to accomplish it as a family. We look forward to meeting you and especially look forward to talking to you. Here's to the start of a great year!
