Interested in playing an intramural sport?
Interested in playing IM sport? Join an RCSA team! We will be forming co-ed intramural teams in speed soccer, volleyball and basketball. It is a ton of fun and great way to meet other scholars! Since we need to sign up by next Wednesday morning, please email kdohnt@berkeley.edu ASAP if you are interested. Please include your SID in the email, and make sure you are member of the gym. See you on the field!

Super Retreat -- only a few spots left!
Super Retreat is coming up in a week! It'll be a lot of fun and a chance to get away from school one last time before school gets busy. If you're interested in going, there are still 3-4 spots left, so make sure to let the UC Liaisons (Rina and Jennifer) know ASAP. We will be leaving from Berkeley on Friday afternoon. Costs will include the house rental and food, and gas will separately split with everyone in the car. Any other questions? Don't hesitate to ask. So find an RCSA friend at Berkeley or any other UC and join the fun!

2008 Sweatshirt Design finalized!
We've finished the sweatshirt design and they will be ready for pickup and purchase by First General (September 3rd). Check out the front design here! The sweatshirts will be white, with blue text. The back will sport the same "Holla at a Schola" as last year.

ASUC Bookstore Discount Night Update - Please Read
Hi everyone! The ASUC bookstore discount night flier is inaccurate, since a couple changes have been made since we mailed them out. Please take note!
Changes:
- 5% off new books, not 10%
- Event STARTS at 8:30 and ends at 10pm, NOT 8 - 9:30.
What stays the same:
- Same day - August 25, 2008
- 10% off used books
- 20% off general merchandise

CalPal 08-09 Application Open
Cal Pal Mentor Applications are Now Available!
Apply now to be a Cal Pal mentor for this upcoming year in the RCSA. Our Cal Pal program is meant to provide younger, new scholars with older brothers and sisters that can provide guidance and advice so that these new Cal Bears can faster acclimate to life at UC Berkeley.
